Platelet Rich Plasma is an innovative approach to tissue regeneration. PRP is an autologous concentrated preparation of platelets and their associated growth factors contained in a small amount of plasma. Platelets are a natural source of a multitude of growth drivers in their natural ratio and biologically determined.

Therapeutic effects of PRP

PRP is intended to improve physical healing and rapid regeneration of soft and hard tissues by freeing up higher concentrations of growth drivers in the treated area.
Autologous cell regeneration and bio-stimulation of dermal cells by intradermal or sub-cutaneous injection is activated by injection of the patient’s own PRP.
The activated platelets free up growth drivers which stimulate the migration and proliferation of stem cells which become mature cells (with specific functions).

PRP and skin rejuvenation

PRP leads to a slowing down of the ageing process and to regeneration by stimulating:
– The spread of fibroblasts
– The differentiation and spread of stem cells
– Neocollagenesis and the formation of the extracellular matrix
– Angiogenesis (formation of new blood vessels)

What happens during the PRP session at the Paris medical clinic?

During a blood sample, the blood is collected in a specific sterile kit which is then centrifuged.

This centrifugal force separates the PRP (yellow) from the rest of the blood.
