Erasing frown lines with injections
The corrugator muscle is responsible for the appearance of these wrinkles. When the muscle contracts, the skin follows, leading to dynamic or ‘movement’ wrinkles. Static or ‘at rest’ wrinkles are due to the gradual breaking down of the skin’s elasticity as it follows the muscle.
Injections allow us to reduce the corrugator muscle’s hyperactivity.
In jections are the suitable solution as soon as frown lines (whether static or dynamic) start to be a problem for the individual.
There are no side effects.
Filling frown lines using hyaluronic acid injections
Hyaluronic acid will not block muscular contraction but can fill the resulting hollow. The major drawback is the risk of necrosis.
