Xanthelasma removal laser

Close up of woman eyes with Xanthelasma on the eyelids. Hypercholesterolemia, high cholesterol

Xanthelasma is a yellow buff-colored lipid deposit (pale yellow or beige) a deposit of fat underneath, that appears on the eyelid; this may be a sign of hypercholesterolemia or the result of a genetic predisposition unrelated to a cholesterol problem.

POSSIBLE TREATMENTS

Doctor removing moles using laser ray. Beauty portrait of a young woman. Birthmark removal, plastic surgery, skin lifting and aesthetic medicine concept.

Laser CO2 or erbium

These lasers vaporise the lesion until it disappears and cannot be done on tanned skin.
The day of the act it is necessary to come to the cabinet without any makeup on. The prior application of anesthetic cream is necessary.
Local anesthesia can be performed according to each case. Intraocular shells will be placed to protect the eyes.
The laser removes, layer by layer, the skin and the fat that constitutes xanthelasma, up to the muscle.
At the end of the session a healing cream and an antibiotic will be applied until scarring

One session is enough.

A crust forms during the healing phase (which lasts about 10 days). The pink color of the scar will disappear in several months.
Complications are rare: hypo or hyperpigmentations of the treated area; infection; delayed healing.
This act can not be performed on tanned skin.

Laser Q-switched 1064 nm

The principle is to explode the fat particles. I do not like this technique because it often causes hematoma, it is risky and failures are common.
It is necessary to realize 3-4 sessions. An anesthetic cream is applied one hour before and eye shields are placed to protect the eyes.

Therapist beautician makes a laser treatment to young woman's face at beauty SPA clinic. Facial laser hair removal epilation procedures. Face care rejuvenation medical correction for model by apparatus in salon. Close up, selective focus.
